TG Audio Player · Last updated: July 6, 2026
TG Audio Player lets you sign in to your own Telegram account and listen to audio content from the channels and chats you've already joined, using Telegram's official TDLib library. This policy describes exactly what data the app handles, matching the App Privacy details declared on its App Store listing.
Signing in and using the app requires sending the following to Telegram's servers — not to us; we do not operate any backend of our own:
All four are linked to your Telegram identity, because that is inherent to how authentication and content retrieval work — we do not anonymize or de-identify this data. All four are used solely for app functionality: signing you in and letting you browse and play your own content. None of it is used for advertising, analytics, tracking or product personalization, and none of it is shared with data brokers or advertising networks.
Voice messages without a title may be transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech framework to generate a short title. The app requires on-device transcription specifically and will not generate a title at all if on-device recognition isn't available on your device — audio is never sent to Apple's or anyone else's servers for this feature. Generated titles are cached locally on your device only.
Playback positions, played status, downloaded audio and generated titles are stored locally on your device (in a local database and the device's file system) and are never transmitted anywhere. Diagnostic logs are also local-only and leave your device only if you explicitly choose to export and share them yourself.
You can delete your locally cached data (downloads, generated titles, playback history) and sign out of your Telegram account at any time from the app's Diagnostics screen, which also removes the on-device session key. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
